From 2016–2020, Elizabeth Waterman spent most of her Saturday nights in strip clubs across the United States, photographing and building relationships with the dancers who make their livelihoods there.

Moneygame looks beyond stereotype to the athleticism, performance, ambition, and humanity of its subjects. Waterman portrays dancers not simply as entertainers, but as skilled performers using their profession to pursue larger life goals.
